Employee Spotlight: Meet Natashalee Miller

Natashalee Miller

Natashalee Miller has been part of the Answering Service Care family since 2018. She started out as an operator before being promoted to her current role as the Florida Operations Manager. Originally from New Jersey, Natashalee is an avid reader and new puppy owner. Below, she shares what she loves most about her job, the best book she has read lately, and what she is looking forward to most in the near future.

What is your role at Answering Service Care?

I am the Florida Operations Manager. I overlook our operation floor, monitoring the flow of calls and callouts per shift, taking supervisor calls, answering questions about accounts, evaluating calls, speaking to clients, and resolving tech issues.

How long have you been with the company? Have you had any other roles here?

I have been with Answering Service Care for almost three years. I began as an operator and was in that role for nine months before my promotion to Florida Operations Manager.

What is your favorite part of your job?

My favorite part of my job is interacting with our senior and new operators that we have on the floor. Our department has many different hats and positions, so I get to collaborate with a variety of people.

What is the most important lesson you’ve learned while working here?

The most important lesson that I have learned while working at Answering Service Care is how to change the situation, not the person.

Where are you originally from?

I was originally born in New Jersey, but I moved to Tamarac, Florida in 2000 when I was three years old. I have lived here ever since.

What do you enjoy doing in your time off?

In my time off I enjoy listening to audiobooks or reading a good thriller book. The best book I have ever read so far is a psychological thriller called The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides. I also enjoy playing with my “Shihpoo” (half Shih Tzu and half Mini Poodle) puppy, Milo, and hanging out with my family.

What is one accomplishment in your life that you’re really proud of?

One accomplishment that I am really proud of is actually being a part of management. I did not believe I had an everlasting impression on people, but hearing positive feedback from my colleagues, superiors and operators is very worthwhile. They believed in me when I couldn’t!

What are you most excited about in the upcoming months?

I am most excited about my family coming to visit. I have my uncle and sister coming down from New Jersey with my niece and nephew, my grandma flying up from Jamaica, and my aunt coming from Canada. I can’t wait to see all of them and be together once again.
