# Get started with AI

AI answering is set up with your ASC implementation specialist, who tailors the assistant to your business. Depending on your setup, this can include Voice AI, SMS AI, multilingual support, and the speech technologies behind your call flows.

### What your specialist sets up

* your greeting and script, so the assistant sounds like your business
* the questions and details the assistant should capture
* transfer, routing, and appointment rules
* escalation rules for when a live agent should take over
* the languages enabled for your account
* any SMS AI workflows connected to your account

### What to prepare

* how you want calls answered and what information matters most
* the contacts and delivery methods for your messages
* any call types that should always go to a live agent

{% hint style="info" %}
Already a client? Ask your account manager to enable AI answering. New to ASC? Start with the [Quickstart](https://answeringservicecare.com/docs/getting-started/quickstart).
{% endhint %}

### Pricing

AI answering is available across the Starter, Small Business, Pro, and Enterprise plans, with live-agent escalation billed separately. For current rates, see [Plans and pricing](https://answeringservicecare.com/docs/overview/plans-and-pricing) or the live [pricing page](https://answeringservicecare.com/pricing).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://answeringservicecare.com/docs/ai/get-started.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
