Let’s walk through the various ways you can set up call forwarding on your Boost Mobile phone—whether it’s general call forwarding or no answer/when busy forwarding. With call forwarding you will never miss an important call—and always help customers when they need it the most.

Unconditional Call Forwarding:

  1. Dial *72 followed by the 10-digit number provided to you by your answering service.
  2. Press “Talk” on your keypad to dial the number and connect your service.
  3. Listen for two confirmation tones or ringing to ensure call forwarding is set up.

No Answer or When Busy Call Forwarding:

  1. Enter *73 (for no answer) or *74 (for when busy) on your keypad​​.
  2. Enter your 10-digit answering service forwarding number.
  3. Press the “Talk” key on your phone and wait for two confirmation tones.

No Answer and When Busy Call Forwarding:

  1. Enter *28 on your phone for no answer and busy situations​​.
  2. Enter the 10-digit phone number you are forwarding your calls to.
  3. Press the “Talk” key to dial the number and wait for two confirmation tones.

 

Keep in mind that some answering services may have specific requirements or limitations with their call forwarding capabilities. So make sure to always check with them to be certain they can take forwarded calls. An important note: before using the forwarding option for customer calls, always make sure it works as you expected.

Turn Off Call Forwarding

  1. Enter *73 on your phone—do not add your forwarding number for this process
  2. Press the “Talk” key to dial the code.
  3. Once complete, end the call and your call forwarding will be turned off.

1. How Do I Block a Phone Number From Calling on My Phone?

  1. Navigate to your Boost Mobile device’s main menu.
  2. Choose “Settings” or “Options” (your device may have other options).
  3. Locate and select the “Call Settings” or “Phone Settings” option.
  4. Open the “Blocked Contacts” or “Blocked Numbers” section by scrolling down.
  5. To input the phone number you wish to block, select “Add” or “Block.”
  6. Close the settings and save the modifications.

2. How Do I Turn Off Voicemail (MessageBank)?

  1. On your Boost Mobile device, dial #002# and click Call/Talk.
  2. A notification confirming the cancellation of MessageBank will display on your mobile device.
